Center yourself, live a more balanced life, and improve your health with exercises on this DVD.
Sifu Ken Gullette leads you through 90-minutes of exercises, from basic routines to more advanced movements such as the Eight Pieces of Brocade and the three 12-movement sets that make up the Yi Jing Ching.
Ken began doing these qigong exercises (also spelled "Chi Kung) during the 1980's, when he was a producer in TV news. The practice of chi kung helped him remain calm and centered in an extremely stressful job. Since that time, he has used qigong to ride the ups and downs of life in a balanced way.
Stress is a killer, so when you learn to manage stress, your health improves. You can also handle tense situations more rationally. It can also have a positive impact on relationships. The key to qigong is learning to calm yourself and manage stress. Qigong is not magical and it's not mystical. It doesn't depend upon some unseen or unproven energy flowing through your body. It's all about teaching your body and mind to calm down, something that we don't often do in our hectic modern lives.

Francois, I typically breathe naturally, through the nose. I don't think it really matters. I am not a believer in ancient superstition, so I don't necessarily believe one is better than the other.
