Chen Taiji Pear Blossom Spear Form Instructional DVD

Chen-Spear-DVD-250The Chen family Pear Blossom Spear Form is a complex, beautiful, flowing form with lively footwork, athletic movements and bursts of fajing while using one of the popular traditional weapons from the battlefields of ancient China.

In this nearly two-hour DVD, Sifu Ken Gullette takes you step-by-step through every one of the form's 72 movements, with an emphasis on the internal body mechanics that make Chen Taiji such a powerful martial art.

Whether you are just beginning to learn the Chen Spear form or you are supplementing what you have learned from another instructor, this DVD will offer you new insights. Also, regardless of your Chen Taiji lineage, even though your teacher may do the movements differently from another master, the body mechanics you learn on this DVD are important to know.

The DVD includes front and rear views of the complete form. Then Ken breaks down each movement, carefully explaining how to move with internal body mechanics and the timing of stepping and the twirling of the spear. The subtleties of generating power using whole-body movement and silk-reeling energy are demonstrated throughout the form, and carefully explained.

It took years of study and practice and months of shooting to prepare this DVD. The instruction found here could take months or years to learn in a classroom setting. The information and insights are yours for only $19.99. There is free shipping and if you are not satisfied for any reason, return the DVD and receive an immediate refund, no questions asked.
