I didn't know what to expect when Nancy and I went to see "Forbidden Kingdom" today. Man, was I surprised. Jacky Chan has never been better, Jet Li has never been better -- it was funny and moving and full of great kung fu action. I can't recommend it highly enough. It was dang near perfect.

Yea it was a pretty good flick. It reminded me of those Scholastic books I loved as a kid where the hero of the story was a kid. I liked how the kid didn't somehow magically know Mandarin either so the movie would all be in english. But I think movie goers have been wanting and expecting more realism and diversity in languages in films anyway.
